DUNGEONS AND DRAGON CASH PRIZE COMPETITION
Prize
The winner of the Dungeons and Dragons Online Cash Prize Competition (“Competition”) will be the first online game player to locate and collect the hidden Gem. Codemasters shall drop 10 Gems over the duration of the Competition in random places in the DDO Game and in random DDO servers. The Entrant who locates and collects a hidden Gem shall win a cash prize of €1,000 (the “Prize”).
RULES OF COMPETITION
Competition Organiser
The organizer and promoter of the Competition is The Codemasters Software Company Limited of PO Box 6 Leamington Spa Warwickshire CV47 2ZT, UK, hereinafter referred to as "the Arranger". The decisions of the Arranger’s Competition Committee concerning all matters related to this competition are final.
Entry Requirements
Before entering the Competition, you will be presumed to have read and accepted the following information, Codemasters legal notice and the instructions for the competition as appearing at www.ddo-europe.com/treasurehunt (“DDO Europe Website”). If you fail to comply with the rules the Arranger’s Competition Committee may at its sole discretion disqualify you from the competition and an alternative winner may be selected from the eligible entries.
The Competition is open to anyone 12 year of age or over who can comply with these Competition Rules within Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Turkey, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Andorra, Serbia & Montenegro, Moldova and Ukraine. No admission fee or purchase is necessary to participate.
The Competition is open from 09:00 BST on 11/12/2006 and will finish on 17:00 BST on 10/03/2006. The timing, place, location, server and frequency of placement of the Gem shall be subject to Arranger’s sole discretion.
The Competition is limited to 2 Prizes per Entrant. Once an Entrant has been identified and confirmed by the Arranger's Competition Committee as the winning entry (as below) on the second occasion, that Entrant may no longer participate in the competition and shall not be eligible to win future Prizes under the Competition.
Technical Requirements
Entry to the Competition requires the Entrant to have the ability to play Dungeons and Dragons Online. This will require the Entrant to have access to or own a legal copy of Dungeons and Dragons Online PC DVD ROM, the required minimum specifications (as set out on the PC DVD ROM packaging and manual) and Internet connectivity.
Winning Entry
The winner will be the entrant who is first to find the randomly placed Gem in the DDO Game and confirmed by Arranger’s Competition Committee as the winner.
The Arranger shall immediately notify the winner in-game that he/she has won the Prize. Further notification shall follow by email to the email address provided by the winner (“Email Notification”). Arranger may also publish winner’s details on the DDO Europe Website and Newsletter.
The winner must acknowledge his/her acceptance of the Prize to the Arranger within seven (7) days from receiving Email Notification from Arranger and in a manner as directed by the Arranger, otherwise Arranger reserves the right place the Gem back in the DDO Game and offer the Prize to an alternative winner. Further, if within seven (7) days of Email Notification the Arranger is unable to contact the winner or if the winner fails to comply with any of the eligibility requirements, Arranger reserves the right to place the Gem back in the DDO Game and offer the Prize to an alternative winner.
Following notification of winning, the Prize winner will be required to give their full postal address and telephone number so that the Prize can be delivered.
Entrant’s personal data may be used for notifying the winner of the Competition and publishing their names on DDO Europe Website and unless the entrant indicates otherwise may also be used to provide entrants with further information on Arranger and its products. By entering the competition you agree to your name and likeness, hometown, and biographical information in advertising and promotion, in any and all media without further compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.
General
The Arranger will not engage itself to any communication on the procedural issues or the results of the Competition.
Entries and Prizes are non-transferrable. By participating the Entrant agrees that any dispute with regard to the conduct of the Competition, rule interpretation or award of the Prize shall be submitted to the Arranger whose decision shall be final and binding. The Arranger reserves the right to cancel, change, modify or extend any and all aspects of this Competition without prior notification to Entrant.
No return, transfer or assignment of prizes will be allowed. The Arranger accepts no other liability whatsoever that may be caused by any Prize awarded to any person in the Competition.
The Arranger accepts no liability for lost, damaged, misdirected or delayed entries or any technical difficulties affecting the end result of the Competition or the entry to the Competition. By participating the Entrant, and the winners, by acceptance of the Prize, agree to release and hold harmless Arranger, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and their officers, employees, agents and representatives from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses, which may be sustained directly or indirectly in connection with participation in the Competition or with the receipt, ownership or use of the Prize.
Further, Arranger disclaims any responsibility for any damage caused to the Prize upon or during its delivery to the winner. The provisions of this rule may not be applicable in full or in part in some jurisdictions. The liability of the Arranger shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Prizes will be delivered to the winners within 28 days of the winner’s acknowledgement of Email Notification.
Neither the Arranger or its agencies shall not be responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the sender, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Competition which may limit the ability to play or participate, or by any human error which may occur in the conduct of the Competition or in the processing of the entries in the Competition. If for any reason, (including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any cause beyond the control of the Arranger, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Competition), the competition is not capable of being conducted as described in these rules, the Arranger shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition

Competition is subject to the laws of England. Void where restricted or prohibited by law.
The Competition is not open to employees (or their friends or families) of Arranger and their affiliates or agents.
