Rules of the Competition
  1. Before entering the Competition, you will be presumed to have read and accepted the following information, Codemasters legal notice and the technical rules and instructions for the competition as appearing at www.codemasters.com (“Codemasters‘ Website”).
  2. This Competition is open from 12:00 PM GMT on 18th December 2008. To qualify, entries must be received no later than 11:59 PM GMT on 3rd January 2010.
  3. To enter visit the competition website at www.ddo-europe.com and answer the questions posed each day of the competition by submitting the answers in an email to ddocompetition@codemasters.com. One finalist will be chosen per question from all correct entries. The 12 finalists will then be entered into a random grand prize draw to win the prizes listed for the competition, all finalists will win a prize depending on the random order they are chosen in for the grand prize draw.
  4. The organizer and promoter of this competition is The Codemasters Software Company Limited of PO Box 6 Leamington Spa Warwickshire CV47 2SH, UK, hereinafter referred to as "the Arranger". All entries become the property of the Arranger. The decisions of the Arranger’s judging committee concerning all matters related to this competition are final.
  5. All entries must include entrant’s full name, post code and email address. If all of the information required is not given, your incomplete entry may, at the Arranger’s discretion, be considered invalid. Following notification of winning, the first prize winner and runners-up will be required to give their full postal address and telephone number so that the prizes can be given.
  6. Each of the entries submitted will be judged by the Arranger’s judging committee to determine the winner. The Arranger shall inform the winners by 8th January 2010. The winner will be notified by email. The prize-winner must acknowledge his/her acceptance of the prize to the Arranger 30th January 2010 as directed by the Arranger otherwise an alternate winner may be drawn from the remaining entries. If the Arranger is unable to contact the winner by 30th January 2010 or if the winner fails to comply with any of the eligibility requirements, an alternate winner shall be drawn from the remaining entries.
  7. This competition is open to residents of the European Union and supported countries for Dungeons & Dragons Online Stormreach in Europe. No admission fee or purchase is necessary to participate. One entry per person.
  8. The name of the winner will be posted on Codemasters Website.
  9. Your entry must comply with these rules and the technical rules presented on the competition section of Codemasters‘ Website. If you fail to comply with the rules the Arranger’s judging committee may at its discretion disqualify you from the competition and an alternate winner may be selected from the eligible entries.
  10. Individual contestant's personal data may be used for notifying the winner of the competition and publishing their names on Codemasters‘ Website and unless the entrant indicates otherwise may also be used to provide entrants with further information on Codemasters and its products. By entering the competition you agree to your name and likeness, hometown, and biographical information in advertising and promotion, in any and all media without further compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.
  11. The Arranger will not engage itself to any communication on the procedural issues or the results of the competition.
  12. Entries and prizes are non-transferrable. By participating the participant agrees that any dispute with regard to the conduct of the Competition, rule interpretation or award of prize shall be submitted to the Arranger whose decision shall be final and binding. The Arranger reserves the right to cancel, change, modify or extend any and all aspects of this competition without prior notification to participant.
  13. No cash substitution, transfer or assignment of prizes will be allowed. The Arranger accepts no other liability whatsoever that may be caused by any prize awarded to any person in this competition.
  14. The Arranger accepts no liability for lost, damaged, misdirected or delayed entries or any technical difficulties affecting the end result of the competition or the entry to the competition. By participating the participant, and the winners, by acceptance of their prizes, agree to release and hold harmless Arranger, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and their officers, employees, agents and representatives from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses, which may be sustained directly or indirectly in connection with participation in this competition or with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or travelling to any prize-related activity. The Arranger expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for injury or loss to any person or property relating to the delivery and/or subsequent use of the prize awarded. The provisions of this rule may not be applicable in full or in part in some jurisdictions. The liability of the Arranger shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  15. Neither the Arranger or its agencies shall not be responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccu¬rate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the sender, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this competition which may limit the ability to play or participate, or by any human error which may occur in the conduct of the competition or in the processing of the entries in this competition. If for any reason, (including infec¬tion by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any cause beyond the control of the Arranger, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this competition), the competition is not capable of being conducted as described in these rules, the Arranger shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition

  17. Competition is subject to the laws of England. Void where restricted or prohibited by law.
  18. The competition is not open to employees (or their families), of Arranger and their affiliates or agents.
